Abstract
It was shown in a recent paper that the 'deuterontritium' (d, 3H) reaction was responsible for the formation of 62Cu, 106Ag and 120Sb by deuteron bombardment of copper, silver and antimony respectively. The same reaction is known to occur in beryllium and nitrogen. It therefore seemed desirable to look for other examples of this reaction. It has now been established that the (d, 3H) reaction takes place in fluorine also.
