Abstract
Reactions of dialkylphosphonates with 2-chloro-1,3,2-diox-arsolanes and -arsenanes in the presence of triethylamine yield 2-dialkylphosphonato-1,3,2-diox-arsolanes and -arsenanes, OGO-AsP(O)(OR)2, which are soluble in common organic solvents and are highly susceptible to hydrolysis. The new compounds are characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, and molecular weight measurements.
