Abstract
The reactions of mono-n-butylin oxide and isopropoxide with various glycols in 1/1 and 2/3 molar ratios have given compounds of the types bis(n-bytyltin glycolate)oxide, alkylenedioxybis(n-butyltin glycolate) and n-butyltin glycolate isoproxide. The molecular complexity of these glycol derivatives in boiling benzene has been determined. Tentative assignments of the IR bands of these compounds have been made.
