Abstract
Results of the magnetic susceptibility, χ, measurements on amorphous Fe24Zr76 presented here when combined with the previously reported photoemission data enable us not only to separate unambiguously the Pauli spin and orbital contributions to χ but also to arrive at a reliable value for the Van Vleck susceptibility of pure Zr.
