Abstract
Different order subharmonic and ultraharmonic resonance curves for as oscillator with a cubic non-linearity are obtained theoretically by van der Pol's method. Their distinctive features are discussed. Experimental results obtained with the help of an electronic differential analyser are compared with the theoretical curves.
