Abstract
The elastic scattering of alpha-particles from 6Li has been studied in the incident alpha energy range between 3.30 and 5.00 MeV. A shape analysis of the resonance structures near 3.502 and 4.250 MeV alpha energies leads to the assignments Jπ=2- or 4- and Jπ=2+ respectively for the levels in 10B at 6.56 and 7.01 MeV. The total widths of these two levels are found to be (26±3) keV and (110±15) keV respectively in the centre-of-mass system.
