Abstract
We consider a random-field Ising model with a Gaussian distribution for the random field. The replica approach is combined with the standard spin-decimation technique to set up renormalization-group flows which are Migdal-Kadanoff-like for dimensions (D) greater than, or equal to, 2. The critical behavior is found to be controlled by the low-temperature fixed point of Bray and Moore for D≥2.
