Abstract
In examining a number of Ilford C2 plates, loaded with boron, and exposed to cosmic rays in aeroplanes at an average altitude of 8,000 ft. for about 72 hours we have come across an interesting track which is reproduced herewith. The track starts at one surface of the emulsion, extends for a length of about 470 Âμ and then suffers a sharp bend through an angle of 29° at the point b. It thereafter continues for a distance of 134Â.4 ± 0Â.5 Âμ and ends in the emulsion.
