Abstract

This paper presents results calculated in terms of effectiveness factors for bidispersed catalysts under conditions of diffusivity variation with distance in the micro- and macroparticles. This case leads to two-point boundary value problems, which have been solved using the method of weighted residuals. The results, which appear to be very interesting, are analysed and discussed.
