Abstract
The structure of murrayatin isolated from the leaves of Murraya exotica was established as 7-methoxy-8-(2'-isovaleryloxy-3'-hydroxy-3'-methylbutyl) coumarin from spectral analysis, chemical transformation and synthesis.
