Abstract
In this paper the simultaneous uncertainties of the generalized cosine and sine operators are studied. We obtain states which minimize (ΔC)2 (ΔS)2/<-i[C, S]<2; these states are characterized by a complex number λ and form an over-complete set within an ellipse in the λ-plane.
