Abstract
Reaction of [NBu4]2[Pt12(CO)24] with [Ag(PPh3)4]ClO4 and PPh3 leads to two isolable platinum-silver clusters; the title complex was characterised by single crystal X-ray diffraction. the Pt3Ag core is tetrahedral; one Pt atom is seven-coordinated, the other two are six-coordinate.
