Abstract
The 13C chemical shifts for a variety of M(CN)5Xn- complexes are reported. These chemical shifts correlate extremely well with the M---C and C---N stretching frequencies and Mossbauer isomer shifts and quadrupole splitting values for the iron complexes. However, the calculated shielding constants do not correlate well with the observed shifts.
