Abstract
We prove that for a concave (convex) potential |R1S(0)|2 > (<) 4 1/r31P and (ϖ/ϖμ)(μ-1 1/r31P) > (<) 0, from where it follows that MJ/ψ - Mηc > 94.5 MeV in case the confining potential generates spin forces by scalar exchange only. It is further shown that MΥ - Mηb > 14.7 MeV and [3M(3P2Pb) - 2M(3P0b - M(3P2b)] > 20 GeV.
