Abstract
A simple procedure for computing the changed time period of oscillations for a few per cent variation in the parameter values of a reacting system is presented and illustrated using a reversible Brusselator model. The application of this procedure yields useful information about the sensitivity of the system to variation in parameter values and is quick to use.
