Abstract

We report an unusual temperature dependence of hysteresis in the non-resonant microwave absorption signals from superconducting thin films of YBa2Cu3O7-δ. We observe that the hysteresis increases with increasing temperature up to Tc which we interpret as evidence for the presence of surface barriers in the single crystalline films.
