Abstract
On the basis of degradative and spectral evidence and synthesis, echioidin, the new flavone glucoside isolated from Andrographis echioides Nees, is shown to be 5-hydroxy-2'-β -D-glucosidoxy-7-methoxyflavone (echioidinin-2'-β -D-glucoside).
