Abstract

A new C20-diterpenoid alkaloid delbidine has been isolated from a hybrid population of Delphinium occidentale (S. Wats.) S. Wats. and Delphinium barbeyi (Huth) Huth and its structure elucidated by spectroscopic methods. The structure was confirmed by its correlation with geyeridine.
