Abstract
The elastic scattering of electron by lithium has been calculated using polarized Born approximation. The polarization potential is obtained following the procedure of Stone. The exchange is included via the Ochkur approximation. The results for the total elastic scattering cross-section are compared with other calculations and the experimental data.
