Abstract
The synthesis, spectral characterization, and thermochemical studies of polyphenyl methacrylate peroxide (PPMAP) were discussed. The study of the mechanism of the primary exothermic degradation was substantiated by thermochemical calculations. The spectroscopic studies of alternating copolymeric structure of PPMAP were also discussed.
