Abstract
[n]-Prismanes, n> 7,need not belong to Dnh point groups. Ab initio SCFMO Calculations on the model C2H6, and molecular mechanics calculations on [n]-prismanes indicate that [8]-prismane may adopt a D4D, structure, 1.
