Abstract
By applying recently developed, low-noise, processing techniques, high quality, bleached, reflection holograms of three-dimensional objects have been produced with a commercial photographic emulsion. When illuminated with a compact, white light source, these holograms give bright, reconstructed images with a signal-to-noise ratio which compares very favourably with that for unbleached, transmission holograms.
