Abstract

The developments that have taken place in the seventies and early eighties in neutron sources and neutron beam instrumentation have led to increased use of neutrons for solid state research. Some of the recent techniques are still in their infancy. However, it is clear that they have great potentialities in helping in research areas not studied so far.
