Abstract
Ultraviolet irradiation of ethyl N,N-diallylcarbamates in the presence of copper(I) trifluoromethanesulfonate (CuOTf) catalyst results in photobicyclization to give bi or tricyclic pyrrolidines incorporating the N-carboethoxy-3-azabicyclo [3.2.0] heptane moiety.
