Abstract
Tri-, di- and monoorganosilico n(IV ) derivatives of benzilmonothiosemicarbazone have been synthesized by the reactions of the corresponding tri-, di- and monoorganosilicon(IV) chlorides with the sodium salt of benzilmonothiosemicarbazone in different molar ratios. These derivatives have been characterised by elemental analyses, molecular weights, conductivity measurements and spectral (IR , 1H and 13C NMR) studies. The complexation occurs through sulphur and the nitrogen of the >C=N group.
