Abstract

ophenol have been synthesised by the reactions of antimony trichloride with N-(salicylidene) - ο - mercaptoaniline in desired molar ratios. These derivatives have been characterised by elemental analysis, molecular weights, conductivity measurements, IR and (1H and ,3C) NMR spectral studies.
