Abstract

Both DC and AC electrical conductivities for glasses in the system CuO-Sb2O3-P2O5 have been measured over the temperature range 80-450 K. The DC conductivity data at higher temperatures indicate that a phonon-assisted hopping conduction mechanism is operative. The low-temperature data are characterized by a variable-range hopping model. The AC conductivities of all the samples are consistent with the classical hopping model.
