Abstract
This paper presents two different control schemes for load sharing in the presence of utility grid. A single renewable source (modeled in the form of battery) is available to meet the load real and reactive power requirement. Load receives power partially from the distributed generation (DG) and remaining power from the utility grid. The sharing of the real and reactive powers is regulated by two control schemes. Current sharing with d-q theory and instantaneous p-q theory are discussed, and modeled and simulated using Matlab/ Simulink.
