Abstract

Directionally specific interstack S…S and S…Cl contacts may be employed to engineer crystal structures such that a 4 Åshort axis is obtained; a representative compound, the crystal structure of which has been determined, and which additionally exhibits unusual solid-state reactivity, is the title thione (1).
