Abstract

Application of signal analysis methods, both existing and developed, has been attempted in order to complement information obtainable through conventional pulse-echo technique and to increase the defect detection sensitivity. The signal analysis methods adopted in order to overcome the limitations posed by conventional testing and the results obtained are discussed.
