Abstract
The magnetic state of the RuFeSi system has been investigated by low and high field magnetization, 57Fe Mossbauer effect and neutron diffraction measurements. The complex magnetic behaviour has been attributed to the presence of magnetic clusters and their dynamics. The high temperature ferromagnetic order was observed to evolve into a low temperature spin glass phase.
