Abstract

Polycrystalline form of flux line lattice is considered to comprise ordered weaker pinned regions surrounded by disordered stronger pinned regions. If the electromagnetic response of this polycrystalline form is dictated by two distinct critical current densities (Jc), we present a schematic which elucidates the circumstance in which we can witness an anomaly in Jc(H) prior to the peak effect phenomena.
