Abstract

Magnetization measurement data in the superconducting region are reported in single srystals of La2-xSrxCuO4. The second peak of the magnetization changes closely correlated with the change in the superconducting state from underdoped to overdoped regions. It is pointed out that the collective pining state which gives the strong second peak effect is formed by a distribution of normal metallic states which fluctuatingly appear in the crossover region from superconducting to normal metallic state.
