Abstract
The magnetic phase diagrams of two closely related series of alloys in the ternary system Ru-Fe-Si, crystallising in L21 Heusler structure have been constructed on the basis of ac susceptibility, bulk magnetization and 57Fe Mossbauer studies. The spin dynamics of Fe atoms in these alloya is governed by competing ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic interactions.
