Abstract
Results are reported from photometric observations of HZ Her, obtained in the NIR using a liquid-nitrogen-cooled InSb detector on the 1-m telescope at Uttar Pradesh State Observatory on April 6, 1987, equivalent to binary orbital phase phi(1.7) = 0.88-0.94. The data are presented in tables and graphs and briefly characterized. The 1.6-micron excess reported by Gnedin et al. (1986) for the same orbital phase was not confirmed.
