Abstract
Resacetophenone has been condensed with cyclic-β-ketonic esters cyclohexanoae-2-carboxylate, alkylcyclohexanone-2-carboxylates andi β-decalone-3-carboxylate in the presence of phsophorus oxychloride the formation of 7-hydroxy-6-acetyl derivatives of cylcohexeno- and oct: coumarins.
