Abstract

Microwavespectrallinewidths of OCS, CH381Br, C2H4O and CH2F2 have been measured as broadened by polar and non-polar molecules on a double modulation microwave spectrograph complete with frequency standard and phase sensitive detector. The experimental linewidth parameters (Δν/p) have been compared with the theoretical results and some general conclusions have been drawn.
