Abstract
In the title compound, C23H22ClNO, there are two independent molecules showing similar conformations, the tetrahydroindole ring system being approximately planar except for the dimethyl-substituted C atom. Molecules are linked via C-H...O, C-H...π and C-H...Cl interactions, forming a sheet-like structure.
