Abstract
Nucleophilic substitutions on 3-chloro-4- fluoronitrobenzene 5 with piperazines occur on the fluorine rather than on the chlorine atom as reported, to yield 3-chloro-4-piperazinylnitrobenzenes 8 and 9.
