Abstract

Electrical resistance of the Kondo compound CePd2Ge2 has been measured under high pressure at low temperature in order to examine the competition between the magnetism and Kondo effect. It is found that the Neel temperature TN increases with increasing pressure and this compound is placed on the left-hand side of the peak of the Doniach's phase diagram. The result is discussed by comparing with the previous result of La-substitution.
