Abstract
Three possible circuits of transistor Wien bridge Oscillator, derived from analogy with the corresponding vacuum tube circuit, are described. Approximate formulae for the frequency of oscillation and the voltage gain required for maintenance of oscillations are deduced; A practical Circuit using two OC71 transistors is given. The frequency of oscillation is found to agree fairly well with that calculated from theory. The relative merits of the different forms have also been discussed.
