Abstract

Matricidal hatching was observed in well fed amphimictic females of Cruznema tripartitum. Tests using different concentrations of agar (0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, 2% and 3%) showed thai 1.5% was most suitable for matricidal as well as for die normal hatching and also for the number of juveniles hatched in bodi cases. Development up to the third juvenile stage within the body was observed in some females.
