Abstract
It is the synthesis of the stereochemically interesting 5.9-dimethyl-3.4-benzo-phenanthridine, the 9-methyl-3.4; described 5.6-dibenzo-phenanthridins and several other 3,4-benzo-phenanthridine by a modification of the method of Bruckner. Die UV-Spektren der dargestellten Phenanthridine werden diskutiert. The UV spectra of the illustrated phenanthridines are discussed.
