Abstract
The thermodynamic instability constants of GaSCN++ and InSCN++ were determined by spectrophotometry and potentiometry. AlSCN++ could not be detected in solution in the concentration range in which the present work was done. The stabilities follow the order In > Ga > Al. Possible explanation for the sequence has been given.
