Abstract

Computer based analysis of the potentiometric data obtained at 37°C and l=0.15 M; (NaCIO4) for the Cu(II)-glycylglycine (A)-DL-4-aminobutyric acid (B) system indicates the presence of two ternary complex (CuAB) and CuABH-1). In addition to the binary complex species (HA, HA, CuA, CuAH-1, HB, HB, and CuB). The results suggest that the five and soven-membered chelate rings in the CuAB complex is less favoured. It appears that the amide-deprotonated glycylgycine in the CuABH-1 complex species is trideninte simillar to that in the CUAH-1 glycylgycine binary complex.
