Abstract

The influence of the Si/Al ratio on the acid strength distribution of H-ZSM-5 zeolite has been investgated by studying the chemisorption, stepwise thermal desorption and temperature programmed desorption of pyridine at 373-673 K using gas Chromatographic techniques. The site energy distribution on the zeolite has been found to be quite broad and strongly dependent on the Si/Al ratio.
