Abstract

The existence of large condensations introduces a descrete element into the steady state theory. This discreteness assume curcial importance where the counting of an age-correlated property is involved-as it may do in the case of radio sources. The discrete nature of the problem makes it awkward to deal with analytically. A different method using a high speed computer was therefore tried recently. This approach and th results obtained from it are discussed in this paper. There is a good agreement between the results and those obatined earlier by an analytical method.
