Abstract

Model atmospheres have been constructed for the effective temperatures 4500, 5000, 5500 and 6000°K and for hydrogen-to-metal ratios of 1,5,10,40, and 100 times the solar value. The effect of reduced metal abundance on the atmospheric structure of these stars are studied. This study is of particular interest in relation to the study of subdwarfs.
