Abstract
Two stars, 45 Tauri and HD 27808, in the Hyades Cluster have been studied from an analysis of strong line profiles. The profiles studied are Hα, λ 3933 of Ca II, and λ λ 5890, 5896 of Na I. The two stars give consistent results in showing that the metals in the Hyades stars are overabundant by a factor of about 1.5 with respect to the solar abundance. This is in conformity with the curve-of-growth study.
