Abstract

The angniar structure and low-frequency spectrum of 3C 391 have been investigated with new high-resolution observations at 80 and 408 MHz. The spectrum has a turnover near 408 MHz. An H I absorption kinematic distance shows that the source is at least < 5 kpo distant. The new data are compatible with the conclusion that 3C 391 is a supernova remnant.
